I downloaded the file (thanks, great mod!) and attempted to open it with winzip, but winzip told me the file was corrupt and didn't allow to to unzip it.It told me to download the file again.I only have one download attempt left, so I'm asking here for advice on what to do about this?

could you let me know what OS and browser you use and also what anti-virus solution you are using.
I'm beginning to think it's an issue with the AV based on previous issues.

Avg free version anti virus.I have tried downloading from the checkout using my winxp and win2000 machines.Both gave the same error message.I am using Mozilla Firefox web browser.

A question: I already have my zen cart installed.How do I install this mod?
Please don't tell me this can only be installed from a fresh install of zen cart.

installing the UK template to an existing store means 'fiddling' with the sql file.
The actual files will overwrite the american spellings but it's the sql file that performs the magic.
It's really hard to give clues as to what you need to use and what you need to remove without knowing your existing site.
The sql file itself has notes so read through them and see if it helps.
One thing you probably won't need is the currency section.

Yeah I've been mired with a few other things with zen cart too.Just got back round to this UK thing now.Think I'll have to post about this at the support site, as I really haven't got a clue.There's no way I'm going to start all over again and reinstall zen cart.I've done too much work already.I'll take what you've said and see if anybody knows what I need to specifically do to implement it.

understood - i'd be the same.
The trouble is that people who don't start with the UK template may have differrent settings.
If memory serves me there is a file in the Big Royal Mail module that you can use to get your store back to basics.
just be aware that any changes to counties etc may cause small issues if you've already got customers.
