Topic: installing with fantastico

Hi Guys,

i planned to install Zen using fantastico....

I uploaded the UK folders first into my site /shop (instructions say they must be uploaded BEFORE installing Zen)....

however when I go to install Zen using fantastico it says:

Enter only the directory name to install in a directory (for http://domain/name/ enter name only). This directory SHOULD NOT exist, it will be automatically created!
-------------

Obviously this is a bit of a "no win" situation....

- UK files must be uploaded BEFORE installing Zen
- Fantastico says: This directory SHOULD NOT exist, it will be automatically created!

Has anyone used fantastico to do this?

Maybe I should take the plunge & look into doing it manually...

ok....I installed manually....and it went well apart from one thing sad

I selected that I had SSL & thought I had put the correct information in...sadly not sad

When I try to login the url is:

https://secure19.inmotionhosting.com/~p … 143bf6b5e9

...basically it has added this bit:

https://www.mydomain.com/shop/

in the middle sad

....anyway....asides from that I'm pretty pleased. Currently I have just disabled the SSL using this help file: http://tutorials.zen-cart.com/index.php?article=15 and will hopefully find a way to fix it tomorrow smile
